How It Works
When you check in to a property certified by Safe-n-Sound, you may be offered the option to receive safety-related SMS text messages during your stay.
You can opt in through a secure tablet located at the property. The opt-in process clearly explains the types of messages you may receive and allows you to enter your phone number to confirm consent.
You must agree to receive texts during your stay, and then press the "Confirm & Enroll" button to subscribe.
What type of notifications will I receive?
If you opt in, you may receive 1–3 text messages during your stay, including:
- A confirmation message once you’ve opted in
- Urgent safety alerts (e.g. fire, smoke, carbon monoxide, or unauthorized access)
- A notification when your phone number has been automatically removed from our alert system at checkout
Example Messages
“Welcome to your stay! You’re now subscribed to Safe-n-Sound alerts. You’ll only receive safety-related notifications during your visit.”
“ALERT: Smoke detected in the living room. Please evacuate immediately and contact 911 if needed.”
“Thanks for staying with us! You’ve been unsubscribed from all Safe-n-Sound alerts.”
Opting Out
You will be automatically unsubscribed at the end of your stay. However, you may also opt out at any time by tapping either the agreement or subscription buttons on the tablet, or by replying **STOP** to any message.

Privacy Policy
Safe-n-Sound is committed to protecting your privacy. We never sell or share your phone number, and it is automatically removed from our system after your stay.
